Ndutu migration safari during calving tours holidays and travel package have been designed specifically to focus on and to increase your chance to see the great Serengeti wildebeest migration. The Southern Serengeti and Ndutu areas in Tanzania are the best locations for the months of January, February and March to witness thousands of wildebeest spread across the plains grazing on the rich short grass plains. Predator action is at its peak with great sightings of cheetah, lion, hyena and leopard and a very good chance to see adrenalin packed kills.

5-Day Migration Safari Calving Season
We’ll pick you up from your hotel accommodation in Arusha and bring you to Arusha Airstrip for your flight to Ndutu Area. Upon arrival, you’ll have a meet and greet with your tour guide/driver and then proceed to a game drive.
Lake Ndutu Area Description: Located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Rich in elephants, birds, and the Great Migration from December to April.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Enkutoto Migration Camp
Start your day with a game drive in Ndutu Area after breakfast and then back to the camp for lunch then resume game drive at Seronera.
Serengeti Description: Track the Great Migration and enjoy explanations of this world-renowned event. Serengeti is a world heritage site and famed for its annual migration and diverse wildlife.

Accommodation: Enkutoto Migration Camp
Experience a hot air balloon safari early in the morning and then proceed back to the camp for breakfast. Afterwards, we’ll depart for Seronera with game drive en route.
Serengeti Description: Home of the Big Five including over 3,000 lions and around 1,000 leopards. Enjoy a full day exploring this iconic area.

Accommodation: Enkirari Wilderness Camp
After breakfast, we’ll continue the game drive in Seronera area and in the afternoon, we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Migration Narrative: Wildebeest herds follow an instinctive migration cycle. Over 8,000 calves are born daily in a population boom during their annual 1,000 km journey through predator-rich landscapes.

We’ll depart in the morning after breakfast and descend to Ngorongoro Crater by 11 AM. Afterwards, we drive back to Arusha and drop you off in the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
Ngorongoro Description: A natural wonder and UNESCO site. Expect to see rhinos, lions, flamingos, hippos and more inside the 600m deep volcanic crater.
