We will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. One of the largest national parks in Tanzania, this park is especially known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round and is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons.

Accommodation: Serian Tarangire Camp

After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti National Park in the Central Seronera. This park is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “Big Five”: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

Lions: Serengeti holds Africa’s largest lion population with over 3,000 lions.

Leopards: Commonly seen in Seronera, though present throughout the park.

Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles joining the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.

Accommodation: Enkirari Wilderness Camp

After breakfast, we will drive early to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it includes the Ngorongoro Crater—the world’s largest caldera. This highland region holds approximately 25,000 large animals.

Its stunning landscape of highland plains and wildlife density makes it one of the most exotic natural wonders on Earth.

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Farmhouse Lodge

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara via a visit to a Maasai village. The park’s name comes from the Maasai word “Manyara”, a reference to the Euphorbia Tirucalli plant used to construct livestock enclosures.

The park lies along the dramatic Rift Valley fault line. The vast escarpment is so significant that astronauts reported it visible from the moon.

After the game drive, we’ll return to Arusha and transfer you to the airport for your onward journey.
